CPPIA WPC Chairman of the Committee Chairman Lin Dongliang said that while about 75% of the Chinese wood-plastic composite materials for export to foreign countries, but the domestic market growing demand.
Lin Dongliang, said: “A few years ago WPC in China also nobody cares, but now many housing projects and buildings are used in this material. The Government also hopes to further extend it to other projects.”
According to Plastic Association estimated that China WPC rapid growth of manufacturing capacity in recent years, from 2006 to about 44 million pounds to now about 6.6 billion pounds.
Although Chinese companies did not show signs of recession, industry officials expect next year’s production will be approximately 882 million pounds, but many industry experts still urged overseas Chinese enterprises to explore new markets.
